Our Story

We’re El and Luke - the husband and wife creative duo behind Somewhere Together Studio. Born from a shared love for design led travel and intentional digital storytelling, we capture the lived in, sensory details of luxury stays from the inside out. We have travelled together for almost a decade, and share a deep passion for interior design and the art of exceptional hospitality.

Beyond the lens, we bring a deep understanding of commercial operations. With over a decade of combined corporate experience, we understand brand alignment, quarterly calendars, target demographics, and the seamless project execution luxury hospitality teams require. We pride ourselves on being a highly professional, low-friction extension of your team.

  • Our workflow is entirely collaborative and structured across three distinct phases:

    • 1. Briefing & Strategy: We align closely on your visual guidelines, core demographic targets, and specific content needs to map out a clear creative direction.

    • 2. The Shoot: We execute the production on-site, intentionally capturing the unique features and quiet moments that help casual viewers imagine themselves in your space, turning them into prospective guests. (And yes, we will absolutely set a 4:30am alarm to capture that perfect sunrise light).

    • 3. Post-Production: We handle all professional editing, colour grading, and sound design, delivering your final assets in an organised, easy to navigate digital library.

  • We operate strictly as a self contained, two person team (husband and wife). We don't bring a large crew, distracting setups, or obtrusive gear. By moving through your property seamlessly as model guests, we capture premium visual assets organically without ever interrupting your daily operations or the privacy of your actual guests.

  • We adapt our lens completely to your current marketing goals. We can focus purely on the architectural design and physical property, or we can weave in the local destination and surrounding experiences.

    In terms of narrative style, we can craft tailored lifestyle perspectives - including romance/couples, solo travel, or curated adventure sequences. We can be as visibly involved on camera as needed to provide that trusted 'lived-in' creator perspective, or remain entirely behind the lens for a traditional, property first aesthetic.

  • Yes. Every asset package we deliver includes comprehensive digital usage rights. You are completely free to utilise the media bank across your website, organic social media channels, email newsletters, and paid Meta or TikTok advertising campaigns with no expiration dates or hidden licensing fees.

  • We know how fast social calendars move. Your fully edited, curated gallery of editorial stills and videos will be delivered via a secure digital link within 14 days of our departure. Expedited timelines for upcoming launches or seasonal campaigns can be arranged during our initial briefing.

  • We offer structured base packages determined by your property's required length of stay and the final volume of your media bank.
